Alessandro Marconi

“Feeling the time marked by a CH27-70 caliber from Patek Philippe was one of the closest sensations to Nirvana”

Alessandro Marconi inherited his passion for watchmaking from his father, who in 1975 founded the renowned family workshop, Orologeria Marconi, located in the heart of the historic center of Rome, a few steps from the Pantheon. For over 12 years, Alessandro has passionately dedicated himself to the profession of watchmaker, which he began immediately after graduating. His experience and expertise in the sector are extraordinary, thanks to the training received directly in the family laboratory.

Recently, Alessandro has further raised his standards, thanks to the total restoration of a very rare Panerai Radiomir ref. 3646 from the Second World War, demonstrating once again his skill in dealing with watches of great historical and technical value. His technical knowledge of mechanical movements, spanning from the 1920s to today, is impressive, making him a point of reference in the vintage collectible watch industry.

In addition to his work as a watchmaker, Alessandro has a vast collection of over 400 wristwatches, ranging from the renowned Rolex to the iconic Heuer, also including lesser-known brands such as Universal Geneve and Doxa.

His dedication to research and tradition continues to keep Orologeria Marconi's reputation alive in the world of vintage and luxury watches.
