In his collection he can boast several unique pieces, some even hand-painted in the early years of the last century, and it is precisely on these pieces that his investigative approach is unleashed, since he believes that the value of an object is given by its history, more than by its commercial value. At this point, a series of questions arise in Ivan: what happened to the bar where that advertisement was once displayed? Why did the object disappear from radar for several decades before reaching him? Each Vintage piece gradually reveals its unique story. And the old crumbling paint hides many other stories – sad, happy, exciting and mysterious.

“I became interested in vintage objects for the history they are imbued with, and I want to find out everything about their provenance and their use.”

Each object included in the Endrizzi Collection is steeped in a long history. Almost every day, Ivan Endrizzi receives offers from collectors and dealers hoping to pique his interest with old enamel and neon advertising signs, promotional posters and other rarities. He is very active in German-speaking markets, being a native German speaker.
